Rosaria's workshops are great fun and a pressure-free environment in which to learn about Afro-Brazilian rhythms, regional dances such as Maracatu, the sensual and energetic Samba and collective dances to the sound of Samba Reggae. The session is designed to run concurrently with the drumming workshops so that the dance learned by the group will match the piece being taught to the drummers. Both groups can then come together at the end of the session for a joint-performance.

Dance is central to Samba and to Brazilian life. Under1Sun is fortunate to be asscociated with Rosaria Gracia: dance artist, choreographer, carnival performer and university lecturer.
