Up to 100 people at a time can take part and no previous experience or musical ability is needed. Anybody with a heartbeat can play Samba, which immediately puts everyone from senior management to shopfloor staff on an equal footing.

Each participant is given one of seven different percussion instruments and learns a corresponding rhythm and, by listening to both the instructor and to each other, the miraculous and uplifting sound of Samba is born.
